Subscribe to RSS
The RSS Footer WordPress Plugin is a creation of Joost de Valk, which allows you to insert your own custom message, (that links back to your blog) in the beginning or at the end of your article feed. The RSS footer plugin also contains a checkbox which allows you to tick if you want to display a link back to the original post in your RSS feed.
If you display full feeds and are having issues with blog scrapers, scrapping your RSS feeds, then this WordPress Plugin is definitely one worth adding to your arsenal. You simply download the plugin, unzip the zipped file and upload the rss-footer.php file into your plugins folder and enable it.
Next, you need to add your own custom message and select the content position "before or after" where your custom message will appear in your RSS feed. Furthermore, don't forget get to check out the "Other options" checkbox to add the anchored text link back to your post and URL.

Joost de Valk - RSS Footer WordPress Plugin
Now, when the automated scrapers come knocking at your door and scrap your blog, they will end up inadvertently posting a link back to the original post. This will help to expose them and also giving you the proper credit for your content.
While this plugin will not stop scrappers, it will slow them down a bit and make it easier for search engines to figure out where the source originated from. What I like about this plugin, it points out the site that is displaying your content as a scrapper. Hopefully, that will be enough incentive for a scrapper to not continue scrapping your blog and stealing your content. Furthermore, I do surely hope that it will also discourage visitors from returning to the scrappers site.

Additional Comments:
For those of you who are concerned about duplicate content. Currently, I do not know of any incidences where any of the search engines have given out a penalty to the original blog site, which the post was scrapped from.
Spunky Jones.
