        • Add a Google Custom Search Page to your WordPress Blog

        • Add Google Custom SearchHave you ever noticed those sites that have added a "Custom Google Search Page" installed on them? Furthermore, have you ever thought about adding a Google Search page to your WordPress Blog, but you just didn't know how to do it? The Google Custom Search Engine Team has made that possible, and it can be completed in about two minutes or less, depending on your skill set.

          * You will need access to your WordPress Control panel to login to complete the required steps.
          * Get the required code at Custom Search Engine to add the custom search.

          - - Once you have completed the two steps above, you can continue. - -

          * We will be adding a custom search page to your blog, so navigate to Pages.
          * Select, "Add New"
          * Now, we need to switch over to HTML view.
          * Type in your new page name, "Google Custom Search"
          * Paste the code from Google into the box.

          * Adding tags is "optional".
          * Attributes, select main page (no parent) and publish.

          * Now, navigate to your main page, and you should see a link for the custom search page that you just added.
          * Click on it, and you should have a search screen somewhat like this one below.
