I don't know about you, but I really dislike these major WordPress version updates. My previous post, I had an issue with my contact form and had to find another plugin that was 3.0 compatible. I thought that things were back to normal and under control. However, it just wasn't so!
I spent some time going through my site to check out if there were any other issues. I found that you couldn't leave a comment to any of my posts. I dug into the issue and found that one of the core files needed some editing to comply with WordPress 3.0. My coder, Naif Amoodi, found the issue and added the code. I uploaded the file into the root directory and my blog posts comments are back in action.
This problem is isolated to anybody that uses my open posts plugins. I have my coder working on the issue and will see what he comes up with for a solution.
I do have to say it was nice, not getting all of those daily spam filled, I get on this blog. However, that is another issue that I have to sort out.
Additional comments:
Don't get me wrong, it is best to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress for many reasons such as security, etc. There will be times that you'll encounter some bumps in the roads to get there. Hopefully, those bumps will be little ones!
