        • Writing Page Content That Can Be Trusted!

        • - Learn to be yourself and genuine with your audience -

        • Page ContentI was reading some forum posts the other day and read a couple of posts about optimizing page content. It was like going backwards in time by 10 years or so. Many people were giving out advice that you just needed to repeat your keywords over and over until you got a suitable keyword density. However, this SEO method is considered out dated and doesn't work with most of today's search engines.

You should never repeat your keywords over and over. The search engines may flag you for keyword spamming, and you won't rank very well in the search engines for that blog post. Page content, can't be written like it is in politics. People who are online, will quickly see that your blog content is written for search engine rankings and not for humans. Therefore, you shouldn't keep repeating what you are saying in order for people to believe it!

The biggest issue here is, trust. Without it, people will walk away from your blog and go elsewhere. Building trust is something that most bloggers overlook when they start out in the world of blogging. However, the sooner you start writing trusted content for your blog, the better off you'll be. Trust goes a long way in the blogging world and opens the door of opportunities!

The world is full of hype, and we see it all around us. You'll find it in those TV commercials, on billboards and your favorite magazines. However, since the Internet is new fairly new, hype doesn't get you much of anything! Therefore, don't make claims that you can't validate. If you do this, you'll lose your credibility.

One must be genuine and focus on writing your page content much like if you were talking to your readers in person. It is best to be yourself and be honest when you represent your content. This is how you earn your trust from your readers and how you earn your credentials. Therefore, being genuine is a must!

Next, stay away from blackhat SEO methods like hiding text in your site. Such methods as white text on a white background will only work against you. Search engines will spot this very quickly, and you'll get flagged! Furthermore, stay away from hiding content in your CSS. This is commonly being used by many webmasters, and it can backfire quite easily.

If you allow people to comment about your blog content, make sure that you let people comment whether they agree or disagree with you. It is best to let people voice their opinions, because that makes you more genuine to your readers and visitors.

Remember that your visitors must be able to trust you. Otherwise, they won't participate and purchase any of your products and services. Furthermore, remember that first impressions are very important. Don't mess it up by trying to feed them page content that is "keyword optimized" solely for ranking in the search engines! Therefore, write for your visitors first and then optimize for the search engines. However, don't over do it!
