        • What can I do to get more traffic to my website?

        • - Don't become like that tiny island in the big ocean out there! -

        • Improve Web TrafficWhat can I do to get more traffic to my website? In my opinion, is another one of those million dollar questions. First of all, one must reformat this question to understand and solve it. The question should be addressed more in these terms. "How do I become more active in the blogosphere and participate with the discussion?"

The blogging world is very much like a big ocean. Furthermore, if you isolate yourself from the blogosphere and its discussion, you become a tiny island. If you miss the point here, your 'e probably one of those bloggers who become has become that tiny island in the big ocean!
There is a small handful of bloggers who still can obtain a tremendous amount of readership in spite of this. Being isolated is a tough road to travel, especially in the world of blogging. With this in mind, I am sure that they work extremely hard and very long hours to achieve this. However, there is a easier way to achieve this!

The better way to do this, and it's very simple. Get involved! I would say that no matter what niche you have chosen, there are other people writing about the same topic! It doesn't matter if you agree with them, just join their discussion. You'll actually discover new territories and make good use out of the blogosphere!

One of the worst pitfalls is blogging 7 days a week, non-stop. Most bloggers aren't able to write quality packed content with this type of schedule. If your articles are below standards, you'll end up driven some of your visitors away. Therefore, it is important to write content without grammar and spelling errors. In doing so, you will leave a good impression with your readership and build your reputation up as an authority in your niche!

It is best to break things up a bit. Spend a few days a week writing blog posts that are of interest to your readers. Then, spend a couple of days per week finding other sites within your niche to join their discussion. When you find a topic that you can comment on, make sure that it is of substance that adds to the discussion. Doing this will establish you as an authority figure within your blogging niche.

If you stick with this long enough, people will see that you are someone that has credibility. Therefore, they will be interested in checking out what you have been going on at your blog! You'll gain traffic and visibility within your market niche.

Additional thoughts: Don't become a tiny island that isolates its self from the big ocean filled with bloggers out there. The problem with isolation, is it tends to put the blinders on us, and we end up with tunnel vision. We need to communicate with others from time to time to see what is going on out there in this big world. - Working with others, is part of the key to success! -
