Improving PageRank in five, very easy steps!

I have been spending time on some of the forums that are related to my blog niche, lately. I did notice that there were quite a few people who had put up a new blog and gotten PR2 to PR3 in a one month time frame. I was very interested in what methods that they choose to use, and if they were any different from the ones that I teach here on the Spunky Jones SEO Blog?

Here are the five simple steps that they used to obtain a PR3 in 30 days!
01. Utilizing the power of social networking. It appears that Stumble Upon and Digg the favorite chooses used here. They commented, that they had gotten Stumbled and Dugg a couple of times, resulting in a lot of backlinks.

02. Making use of the Forums and including your signature link with your URL of the site that you want to promote. They choose forums such as, Digital Point Forum, Promo Junkie and other high volume traffic Forums.

03. The next is a guest posting on blogs, which are related to your niche and article directory submissions.

04. Directory submissions were the next choice, and they weren't targeted for pagerank. It appears that they submitted to about 100 to 200 directories in 30 days. However, I would caution you on this one. Too many backlinks, too quickly can set off a warning that your links aren't obtained naturally. I don't recommend more than 10 to 20 per week, and I prefer that they be quality directories.

05. The last one, I don't preach about for various reasons. Link Exchange, with sites that have a higher PR and are related to your niche. It wasn't disclosed if they were doing-follow or no-follow links, however!

This concludes the five very easy steps that were used to obtain PageRank.

Here on Spunky Jones, I teach many of the same SEO Strategies, except for #5. I don't disagree that it works, to a degree, but I feel there are better ways of getting links, and they should be one way links, because they contain more value than a link exchange.
