The Internet is a very resourceful place where you can find an endless supply of SEO resources to help you promote your Domain. However, one must be cautious not to fall prey to one of the more popular SEO scams, for you to "purchase targeted traffic". While targeted traffic is the best kind of traffic to acquire, most of these offers are just scams that just don't deliver!

The first and most important tip that I can give you about SEO, is to forget about purchasing web traffic! There are many very valid reasons why you should avoid it like the plague. However, I will just list a few of them. First all, web traffic is expensive and very rarely drives targeted traffic to your site. Furthermore, if you happen to get any traffic from humans, which is very doubtful, they don't have any intentions of purchasing anything from you! Traffic from humans is usually coming from some surf-for-free-credits system, and they are just watching for the 15 second timer to end , so they can continue to the next page for more credits! Furthermore, most of the traffic you'll receive, will actually come from automated bots that are designed to take your money!

In my opinion, the whole thing is a scam that takes advantage of the beginners who are new to the world of SEO. Usually, these people fall prey to such scams. This is because these scams can sound extremely good, but many of the SEO beginners are unaware that this technique is worthless!

If you are new to SEO, you should focus on the basics and forget about shortcuts. There are many good ways to get targeted traffic to your site that includes, writing articles for article directories and sites that allow free article submission. Another method is to utilize social networking sites such as Twitter. Furthermore, commenting on blogs and forums is another way to increase your traffic for your niche!

It is very rare that things come easy, and you don't have to work for it. Blogging is hard work and many who set forth, end up failing or burning out. Build your site for the long haul and avoid shortcuts that are just ways to cheat and make you look bigger than life! Furthermore, avoid SEO scams!
