Therefore, you want your anchor text to be "SEO Blog" because it is straight to the point and relevant.
Better backlink example of a well optimized backlink:
SEO Blog by Spunky Jones<a href="http://www.spunkyjones.com" target="_BLANK">SEO Blog</a> by Spunky Jones
Using "SEO Blog" as your anchor text, will help you to rank for that keyword term. It is a highly competitive keyword term, unlike "Spunky Jones" which is used for name branding. Using this type of backlink format will be more effective to boost your search engine rankings for your targeted keywords and key phrases.
