If the name you have chosen is long, you'll want to use hyphens to separate the words. Remember, that hyphens are uses by the search engines as separators to extract the words from your Domain name more accurately.
Here is what you need to consider when you are picking a name for your new or next blog:
* Many directories won't allow you to have a keyword rich title for your listing.
* Many directories require you to use your legal Domain name, unless you are purchasing a featured listing.

If that directory won't allow keywords in the title tag for their free or regular listings, you are set to go. Your legal name includes the primary and/or secondary keyword.
As I have said, a listing such as, [Spunky Jones} is mainly good for name banding. It is much harder to rank for my keywords, because I didn't include them in my Domain name. If I were to do it all over again, I would have chosen the following.

As you can see, I have avoided using double characters. Search engines, give a lot of weight to the title tag for your rankings in the SERPS. Therefore, you have a better chance of obtaining more web exposure and traffic from the search engines.
