        • Spunky Jones: Search Engine Ranking SEO Experience

        • Search Engine RankingToday's post is entitled, "Search Engine Ranking SEO Experience". We hear a lot about the need for PageRank to achieve top ranking in the search engines. However, I tend to think that to be a typical search engine optimization myth. Furthermore, you can't believe everything you hear in the world of search engine optimization, either. Therefore, make sure that your source of search engine ranking methods, comes from someone you can trust!

          Recently, I wrote a blog post entitled, "The Spunky Jones, SEO Experience Online". This post offered some information about SEO optimization. Furthermore, it was planned to be used with this blog post, to show you that you don't need high PageRank, to achieve top search engine rankings with Google.

          The main keyword phrase for the article was "SEO Experience". Keyword density of 1.26%, was selected, also using synonyms, and related keywords to get a top search engine ranking placement.

          The chosen keyword phrase gets around 15 hits per day. That may not seem like much potential traffic, but that is close to 350 hits per month. One, must use search engine optimization collectively, to maximize their rankings. You can break a single thread quite easily. However, as you add more strands of thread, it becomes much harder to break. Eventually, it becomes a rope that can't be broken easily! Utilizing search engine optimization collectively, to achieve top search engine rankings is highly effective.

          Spunky Jones, Search Engine Ranking SEO format is relatively easy:

          * One H1, H2 and H3 tag, totally 3 tags.
          * Keyword phrase at the beginning and ending paragraph for relevancy.
          * One keyword phrase per <bold>, <em> and <underlined>.
          * Hyperlink "Search Engine Optimization" for relevancy.
          * Keyword density range of 125% to 1.50%.
          * Google Wonder Wheel. Keyword term used, "SEO experience", returned "search engine optimization" for linking relevance.

          Google Wonder Wheel

          I then published the SEO copy and waited a few days for the post to settle in the SERPs. Checking the ranking position of my main keyword phrase, I found it was, #19.

          SEO Ranking Experience Ranking Position

          Position #19 isn't that terrible for a starting point. However, in this blog post, there is one easy SEO technique to apply to improve its ranking position. We just need to change the URL title to, "SEO Experience: Spunky Jones SEO Blog". We want our main keyword term, close to the beginning to improve its density and relevance. Now, we need to sit back, a few days, and let Google update the page content. I would normally place the keyword phrase at the beginning. However, I didn't for this article. It was intentional, to show you the difference it makes with keyword placement in the title.

          Checking Google for the search term, we now, find "SEO Experience" ranking at placement #3. That's a remarkably gratifying improvement, for search engine ranking results!

          I have watched my web stats and see a slight increase of targeted traffic from Google. To obtain the number one ranking position, shouldn't be that difficult. I just need to make one Squidoo Lens and maybe one hub on HubPages. That should be enough to achieve the top search engine ranking position with Google.

          If you notice, this SEO blog has a PageRank of PR2. You don't need high PageRank for your articles to get top rankings! Furthermore, most of my page content gets a fair amount of traffic from the search engines. When you add them all up, 100 to 300 visitors per post monthly, search engine optimization works surprisingly well, collectively!

          That is about all you have to do, to dominate the Google search engine. Quite simple, isn't it?
