        • Are you using keyword rich titles to achieve top search engine rankings?

        • - Using SEO title strategy that includes your primary and secondary keyword terms, works! -

        • keyword-rich-titlesIf you want your web pages to rank well in the search engines for your keyword terms, you need to use keyword rich titles. Furthermore, you must also include those keywords in your web page content to achieve top search engine rankings. However, I won't cover the aspect of page content keywords in this blog post.

First of all, your title should be visible on your web page, and it should be displayed in the form of a "H1" tag. The h1 tag uses a large font size and is usually placed at the beginning of the article. It is used to tell your human visitors and the search engines, what your page subject is about.

Your web page also has or should have a meta title as well. The meta title isn't visible on the page. However, it is visible in your web browser. The meta title is found in the header section of your web page. The meta title should be different than your visible title for search engine ranking purposes. It should include your primary and secondary keyword or keyword phrase.

Example of visible title for human visitors and search engines:

          Example of meta title:
Using Keyword Rich Titles to Achieve Top Search Engine Rankings!

You will notice that both examples include the primary and secondary keyword terms. However, there are some subtle differences between them. The visible one is focused on getting the human visitor's attention to read the article. The meta title puts the primary keyword term at the front or close to the front of the title for SEO optimization and ranking purposes.

You should avoid keyword stuffing your meta title with keywords. The meta title should be readable and make sense, because most often search engines use it as the page title in their search engine results. The goal here is to offer a title that encourages people, via the search engines to click on and visit the web page. - Actually, you should avoid keyword stuffing all together! -

The last item to cover is to use different titles for every page within your web site. Try to make your titles as unique a possible to avoid potential duplicate title content, and you should achieve higher rankings in the search engines. Furthermore, don't expect top rankings overnight and don't forget that practice makes perfect.
