It is of the utmost importance that you target your keywords by incorporating keyword research, even if it is just fundamental SEO. However, it can be somewhat tedious and time consuming process. Furthermore, if you don't practice keyword research and target your keywords, you may just be spinning your wheels and going nowhere, very fast!
In this blog post, I will show you a very easy method to increase targeted traffic from your blog post keywords to target your market and target your brand!
I will use keywords from this blog post as an example. Our objective is to "increase targeted traffic" and your "search engine rankings". Furthermore, we will use your blog post keywords to find related longtail keywords to accomplish this.
Moving Onward to the Google Search Box:
We will start by going to www.google.com and typing in "Target Your Keywords" in the search bar.
Next, you will see a list of suggested keywords from Google. You will notice that Google displays a list of related keyword phrases. We need to pay close attention to the results of those keywords to select the best and most related keywords for SEO.

Looking at this keyword list, you will notice that things just got a whole lot easier to find longtail related keywords for your blog post. Furthermore, longtail keywords are a whole lot easier to rank in the Google search engine.
As you can see there are two results that are related, "your target market" and "target your brand". Next, click on the two related keyword terms, you will notice other keywords that are related to your article and these results will help you in getting the utmost out of your posts for SEO and search engine rankings. From here, you should add your most important keywords to your keyword meta tag and to your WordPress tags.
