There isn't a single workweek that goes by that I don't receive an email from some individual representing a search engine optimization (SEO) firm in India. You'll need a competitive ranking comparison report for your site. This is needed to show your potential clients, how well you rank for your own web site. If you're not ranking for highly competitive keyword terms that deliver targeted traffic, there is no point for any further discussion.

Web Traffic:
Alexa Rankings are a metric that people use to determine whether to purchase your services and products. If your rankings aren't under 100K, most people won't take you very seriously.

PageRank:

Don't present me with an SEO score that was derived by some SEO software. While software can be very useful to get your site on the SEO playing field, don't count on it hitting any grand slams! I have seen niches where the top ten positions range between 75% to 85%. These SEO ratings were taken with SEO software such as, Hello Search Engines 7, Web CEO and Internet Business Promoter (IBP). I have also seen top ranking sites lose their position by increasing their SEO score percentage. There is a human element to SEO optimisation that software can't replace!

There is a lot of talent in India, it just needs to represent itself in more professional manner. I believe that most of this trouble is due to beginners. They are trying to get their foot in the door of the SEO industry. They have good intentions, but aren't quite ready yet.
