        • Follow these Steps to get more Blog Subscribers!

        • RSS SubscribersOne of the most important factors overlooked as a blogger is that your blogs success is dependent upon the amount subscribers you have. In my opinion, you should value them above all other aspects of your blogs success, such factors as Alexa traffic, raw web stats and pagerank. The more subscribers you have, the better off you are!

Here are some simple steps to follow to help you get more blog subscribers:

          1. Provide good page content which is related to your blogs niche and meaning useful to your readers and providing articles regularly. Don't forget about a good page title and always include five to ten related keywords in your article for SEO. Furthermore, remember to link to old posts which makes it easy to find other related information.

          2. Give your blog readers some signup options and make them very visible, such as subscription link and/or an e-mail subscription link included at the bottom of every post. Avoid tiny RSS icons and especially the ones located at the bottom of the footer.

          3. You should build your blog around more of a niche topic, the more specialized it is and the more you understand your topic, the chances are that you do better. You should take a few steps back and revaluate that there are enough reader prospects to support the niche that you have chosen. Always make sure to make a honest decision and don't let your passion for the niche be the main determining factor of your decision.

          4. A rock solid method is to leave posts in forums that are related to your niche. The curious nature of people will take care of the remainder, as they notice what you are offering and want to see what else you have to offer.

          5. Use the search engines to find other blogs which are related to your niche and leave content-rich comments with a link back to your site.

          6. You can gain readers and traffic by using social networking sites such as, Netscape, Stumbleupon, Digg Reddit and Delicious.

          7. If you run a WordPress blog, install the feedvertizing plugin...

          8. It is pretty much a given that people like free stuff. Offering something free to your potential subscribers, it could be a e-book.
This works best by providing a subscription by email with an autoresponder, because it can send them your freebies...

          9. Consider starting a series of blog posts which are related, this will assist your readers to want to come back for more information.

          10. Try to answer as many of the comments that your readers leave and consider them as potential subscribers that you want to subscribe to your feed.
