Bookmarking your favorite sites that you visit is a must, because its much easier to remember the URL of the site. Furthermore, there is always a chance that your Firefox browser could actually crash for various reasons and you could lose those bookmarks. You should always have a backup plan for any and all data on your computer, just in case this were to ever to happen. Backing up your Firefox browser bookmarks is very easy to do, and I will walk you through the process step by step.
* Open up your Firefox Browser and click on the Bookmarks menu and then select Organize Bookmarks.

* At this point, select "all bookmarks" and select backup from the Import and backup menu.

* Next, you will be prompt to enter a filename for your Firefox bookmarks backup. Enter a desired name for the backup file or use the default and click, Save.

* Restore procedure is similar, you will just need to select restore from the Import and Backup dropdown list and restore the file from where you backed it up to.

I recommend that you also copy your backup to a USB flash drive, just in case you would ever have a hardrive failure.
