        • - New WP plugin that stops comment spammers from commenting -

        • Protect Your Blog PostsI have been searching an effective solution to stop bots and spammers from leaving comment spam on my pages, for quite some time now. I have used many Captcha plugins for WordPress in the past. However, the spam filled comments kept coming. For me, it's a waste of time and resources to go through my comments to find that majority of them are nothing more than generic spam filled. At this point, one has to wonder if shutting off the comments is a solution that needed to be looked at!

Finally, I discovered this neat Captcha plugin that is Ajax based called, "Ajax Fancy Captcha". This Captcha plugin is quite different that anything that I have seen before in my search for a comment spam solution. The Ajax Fancy Captcha plugin requires the comment or to drag and drop a specified image into the circle.

Basically, the plugin calls a random number from a php file and displays it in the session for the end user. Next, Ajax creates the image items based on the php file. Now, the end user has to select a predefined image and drag it into the circle. All that is left to do is, submit comment!

The plugin offers a user friendly experience to your users. The plugin offers a medium security level to combat comment spam. In my experience, this plugin stopped the amount of comment spam I receive by 100% so far. However, I have been using the Ajax Fancy Captcha plugin for just a few days.

The nice thing about this plugin, is that it solved my problem to deal with bots and spammers leaving generic comment spam. It allows me to concentrate more on writing and promoting this blog. Therefore, I strongly suggest that you visit the Ajax Fancy Captcha plugin site for further details about this plugin.
