        • Are you using bad post titles that drive your reader audience away?

        • - Get the most out of your blogging efforts and attract more readers with your post titles -

        • Reading the Blog PostYour blog post title is the number one factor, that people look at to determine if they will read your post. The post title is very much like link bait, it needs to attract, compel your audience to follow and read the post. Make sure that you're not using bad post titles that drive your reader audience away!

The main problem is, most bloggers don't spend more than just a few minutes with creating their post title, before they publish their blog post. If your blog post title is bad, it will be most likely ignored and not read by your audience. The more readers you have, the potential you have to increase the amount of comments you receive on your blog.

Below, are some strategies that will help you to understand what elements are needed in your blog post title to attract more readers.

          * Your blog post title needs to communicate to your audience. It has to contain something that is considered to be of value by your readers. Therefore, your post title has to tell your readers what they will get out of it, by reading your post.

          * Address your readers from within your blog post title and the post content as "you" because this is more personalized. These types of titles and blog posts, attract more comments by your audience because of the personal touch!

          * Being controversial, is an effective method that will get people to read your blog posts. However, it is advisable not to over use it on every post that you write.

          * Learn to use your keywords effectively. You need to use bold and italic text to send your audience signals, as well as the search engines.

          * If you want to stimulate comments, ask your reader's questions. Therefore, using a post title in a question format can stimulate your audience to participate and leave comments.

          * You can get the attention of your audience by making claims and promises. However, you'll need to be able to back them up. This is extremely effective if the subject is controversial.

          * Learn how to use power words that are useful to evoke a response from your audience. Words such as, "secrets", "discover", "rewards"  and "free", work very well to create user reaction.

          * Utilizing a title that is humorous can attract more potential readers. However, be careful not to confuse your audience by going too far off in the outer limits.
