Therefore, you shouldn't optimize for the most popular keywords or keyword terms. Furthermore, it is better to rank on the 1st page for a lessor competitive term than to rank #80 for a popular keyword term.Below, you will find an easy three step SEO strategy that will help you to increase traffic from Google.
Step #1: Keyword research - make a list of your keywords and keyword phrases.
You need to take a close look at what you are offering as far as products and services. Then, you need to research those results to make sure that people are searching for them in Google. Furthermore, you will need to look at other related search terms to determine if there is a better choice.Example: If your site is about SEO strategy, then "SEO strategy" would be a specific keyword term to what you have to offer. On the other hand, if you select "SEO" as your keyword term, that is too general of a keyword term to use.
